What we respond to

Any plumbing that can't safely wait until morning. If you're not sure whether it counts, call anyway. A 30-second phone triage is free.

• Burst water pipes flooding a room, wall cavity or ceiling
• Blocked toilets that are the only toilet in the house
• Sewer overflow in the yard, under the house or back through a floor waste
• No hot water (especially in winter, with young kids or elderly at home)
• Suspected gas leaks, natural gas or LPG
• Storm damage flooding through roof or wall penetrations
• Blocked stormwater during heavy rain backing up through the yard

What to do before we arrive

1. 1If it's water: turn off the mains stop tap at the front of the property. If you don't know where it is, we'll talk you through it on the phone.
2. 2If it's gas: don't light anything, don't flick switches, open windows and get everyone outside. Call us from a safe distance.
3. 3Move anything of value away from flooded areas and take photos for your insurance before we start work.
4. 4Stay off the phone to each other so Jordan can call back if we need to update you.

Pricing after hours

There is an after-hours surcharge, and you get the exact figure before any work starts. No surprise invoices. For genuine emergencies our priority is stopping the damage, writing up the minimum fix so you can sleep tonight, and quoting any further work for a return visit in business hours.
